Yes, it is possible to circumvent the VBA password. I have had to do it many years ago, and when I tried it a second time years later, I had the same issue you now face. The software I used back then was called "Advanced VBA Password Recovery" which I purchased. But by then Operating systems had moved on, and it never worked again.
My best advice would be to purchase a solution rather than a free download. It certainly helped me that one time I desperately needed it.
