Wrong URL. Try:
=RCHGetTableCell("
https://navelliergrowth.com/portfolio-grader/stock-report.html?t="&"T",0,"Total
Grade:")

Thanks Randy. This seems to work..but note, that instead of giving the value of 'D' it gives the value of 'Total Value:D'...but I guess I can use the mid$ function to extract it, right?

Either Mid() or smfStrExtr() or Substitute().

Hello Randy, what Excel formula can I use to get dividend yield? I know this should be simple but I havent used smf for awhile and am making alot of updates to my spreadsheets. Thanks.

I would suggest using the smfGetYahooPortfolioView() function. It would
allow you to get a number of different data items on a number of different
ticker symbols, in a single Internet request. Take a look at the template
on the web site.

Like I said, check out the template. It is the example and shows all the
fields available.

Hello Randy...the smfGetYahooPortfolioView() formula looks too complicated for me and I am not interested in using an array formatted type formula.
Can you suggest a simple formula that I can just have get a stock ticker from an excel cell and put the current dividend yield in another cell? I looked at the template and got pretty confused. Thanks.

That pretty much says it. I should get today's close, but I don't. Anyone else seeing this?

Simply using your element # listed from the YahooKS area of your document sheet.
950 Fiscal Year End for example =RCHGetElementNumber(PIK.F,950)
956 Revenue
959 Cost of Goods
961 Net Income
Inventories = =smfGetYahooJSONField(PIK.F,"balanceSheetHistory","quoteSummary.result.0.balanceSheetHistory.balanceSheetStatements.0.inventory.raw") You gave me this
954 Assets
954 Equity
That is all I am getting for about 1,000 symbols over the course of a year. I am now running into a number of examples where they website finance.yahoo.com <http://finance.yahoo.com/> is updated but using the above the most current is a year old.
Is there a better method similar to inventories? Is there a better place rather than Yahoo?
Thanks,
Carl

My better place would be GuruFocus, but I am a subscriber. I don't really
do much with fundamental data these days outside of GuruFocus and
Portfolio123.

Hello Randy,
What would be the formula using the smfGetTagContent function to get the dividend yield from
the finviz.com website? say, using t as an example
https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=t https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=t
I already use this function to get dividend growth so i should probably use it to get the dividend yield as well.
Thanks.
