My smfGetYahooPortfolioView() workbook is working fine. What isn't working
for you?

Seems to be ok now. I tried numerous times to update my quotes this morning and the cursor would just spin.

Randy,
Thanks for your reply.
I also have other URL that I want to extract data. In case I want to apply the add-in, what should be the first step ?
Can you point me to any write up about downloading HTML table from scratch ?
Thanks
Alan

The only write-ups are the documentation for the functions.
In general:
-- RCHGetTableCell() for extraction of individual HTML table cells
-- RCHGetHTMLTable() for extraction of entire HTML tables (as long as they
are simply coded)
-- smfGetTagContent() for extraction from individual HTML paired tagged
-- RCHGetWebData() for specialized extractions
The details of each may require viewing the source code of the web page to
find unique search strings for the desired extraction.
