Ok, I figured out I was looking at the wrong web page. I went to: https://www.wsj.com/market-data/stocks/marketsdiary
And now the numbers correspond.

I'm trying to understand the JSON vs what is displayed on the page…
See below for the data I'm looking at and trying to compare to determine what data I need to pull. I look at "id":"advances","name":"Advances","latestClose":"2,584"
But on the web page it shows Advancing Issues for NYSE as 745.
What am I missing? I'm obviously not understanding this somehow…
Thanks,
Mel
And: https://www.wsj.com/market-data/stocks
In the JSON file, it is showing me
In the web page I see:

One option is WSJ:
https://www.wsj.com/market-data/stocks/marketsdiary?id={"application":"WSJ","marketsDiaryType":"diaries"}&type=mdc_marketsdiary
...but it's not a trivial extraction.

I've hunted around and most of the places that used to provide the Advancing, Declining & Unchanged issues seems to be gone. There must be some still out there that I could pull that data from… has this already been done?
