As usual, I appreciate your quick response.
I am on version Stock Market Functions add-in, Version 2.1.2013.10.17 (C:\SMFADDIN; ; 1)
The first formula worked for me.
I am assuming that when I install the beta version whatever I code now will still work, is that a correct assumption?
Thanks again.
Kermit

Subject: Re: [smf_addin] I hate to ask but I need help with RCHGetHTMLTable function
It's the most basic form of the function:
=RCHGetHTMLTable("http://www.dividendinformation.com/search_ticker/?identifier="&B3,"Amount Per Share",-1,"",1)
I usually try to use the header of a column within the table, then go backwards to the beginning of the table (i.e. -1) and forwards to the end of the table (i.e. 1). In fact, that is so often the way it goes that the beta version of the add-in now has default values of those last three parameters. So now, with the version of the add-in I use (2015.03.05), I just need:
=RCHGetHTMLTable("http://www.dividendinformation.com/search_ticker/?identifier="&B3,"Amount Per Share")

I have trouble getting the syntax correct every time I try to download a table using the RCHGetHTMLTable function
In this case I am trying to download the Dividend date and payout from this link:
http://www.dividendinformation.com/search_ticker/?identifier=
where the symbol is in cell A1 my example symbol is IBM
Dividend table is the 5th table on the webpage.
The table consist of 3 columns, header are Date, amount per share, and Note (after looking at over 100 symbols, I have not seen any note in the third column)
I know how to create the array based on page 36 of the documentation for the function.
I just can't seem to get the syntax correct for the array.

Should be a correct assumption. I try to keep things backward compatible.
