Yup, I'm visiting the Great White North. So, I'm assuming when I get back to the Red, White & Blue. This will not be a problem?

Ahhh. You must be in Canada? If so, it defaults to the Canadian exchanges.
I don't have anything in there, yet, to allow exchange prefixes to be used on ticker symbols.

Hopefully not. I have added some code to the add-in to allow specification
of the exchange in the ticker symbol. That used to work, before they put
exchange in the URL.

Hi Randy,
I was trying to get the currency from the yahoo stock data and came across this post.
Unfortunately, the proposed solution is not giving me anything.
=smfstrExtr(smfGetTagContent("http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=N4E.SI http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=N4E.SI","p",-1,"Currency in")," in ",".")
Even when trying the following, I get an error:
=smfGetTagContent("http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=N4E.SI http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=N4E.SI","p",-1,"Currency in")
Can you help me or explain why this might not be working?
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Peter

Yahoo apparently is using a different URL now. It's an "https" protocol,
not "http". That is:
=smfStrExtr(smfGetTagContent("https://sg.finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=N4E.SI","p",-1,"Currency
in")," in ",".")

Randy,
You are truly amazing. You made this great add-on, you shared it freely with the world and are now still continuously and unconditionally providing support.
What is driving you?
There are no words for such generosity.
My sincere gratitude for your kindness. To be very honest, I would love to meet you and thank you in person.
Kind regards,
Peter

Hear, hear!
I too, am amazed at Randy's dedication and genuine care for so many unknown people that come to this group for this absolutely free and quite marvelous add-on and the equally free and marvelous support.
I, too, would love to meet Randy and at the very least break bread with him or buy him a beverage of his choosing.
Respectfully submitted.
Pat
