You could get the estimated forward annual dividend amount (from Yahoo's
Key Statistics web page) with something like:
=RCHGetElementNumber("MMM",4924)

Randy,
Thanks for the very useful Excel Add-in.
I installed the version with the smfGetGuruFocusItem() function as well as downloading the template. Works fine apart from the fact the line 'EBIT per share' returns an error as well as all lines below 'PE ratio (ttm)'. I changed the template a bit as I would like to compare results for certain non US companies for a particular year.
I do not know what symbol format to use for the Asian stocks. At the Gurufocus website I could key in XKLS:0001 or HKSE:00011 for example, but using the smfGetGutuFocusItem function that does not work. Any idea what format would work or is the function not ready for use with non US stocks?
Thanks in advance

They changed the coding on the web page so EBIT was no longer working. I've
got it fixed in my version of the add-in, but haven't released it yet.
The lines below "PE ratio" are only available to subscribers.
GuruFocus uses foreign ticker symbols in the format "XKLS:4715", but non-US
companies are only available to global subscribers. I can't say for sure if
the function would work for those stocks, since I don't have a global
subscription.

Oops. Didn't get down that far.
A Google Chrome login won't help. Not sure about MS Edge. You may need to
log in with either IE or the EXCEL Web Query dialog...

You can't grab anything from that web page because it's dynamically
generated. There's nothing in the source code of the web page that can be
extracted. I would recommend this solution from the "FAQs and Tips" web
page:
Link
<https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/smf_addin/conversations/messages/19776>MStar.001
- Grabbing the financial statements CSV file from Morningstar
So, for example:
=smfGetCSVFile("
http://financials.morningstar.com/ajax/ReportProcess4CSV.html?t=GOOG&reportType=bs&period=12&dataType=A&order=asc&columnYear=10&rounding=3&denominatorView=raw
")
Otherwise, to extract individual items, you'd need to go to the AJAX output
file they use to build the page:
http://financials.morningstar.com/ajax/ReportProcess4HtmlAjax.html?reportType=bs&period=12&dataType=A&order=asc&columnYear=5&rounding=3&view=raw&t=GOOGL
...which is NOT a trivial extraction.

Your six formulas would be:
=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.barchart.com/detailedquote/stocks/$SPX
",4,">Low",,,,2)
=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.barchart.com/detailedquote/stocks/$SPX
",3,">Low",,,,2)
=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.barchart.com/detailedquote/stocks/$SPX
",4,">Low",,,,3)
=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.barchart.com/detailedquote/stocks/$SPX

=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.barchart.com/detailedquote/stocks/$SPX
",4,">Low",,,,4)
=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.barchart.com/detailedquote/stocks/$SPX
",3,">Low",,,,4)
Note that the 4 in your formulas below is the second search string...
