Hi,
Looks like the changes at GuruFocus may have changed the GetGuruFocusItem for the Annual Fiscal Period. The Annual Period are offset by 1 year. i.e. the most recent year for MMM shows as Dec14 rather than Dec15. There seems to be a column for "Trend" that may have changed the layout. The rest of the data is in the correct column. Just the Annual Fiscal Period is off.
= smfGetGuruFocusItem("MMM",0,"A",0) should be "Dec15" not Dec14.

Thanks for the heads-up. I just updated the add-in code and uploaded a new

Is it possible to pull Fair value and Margin of Safety from the below page http://www.gurufocus.com/dcf/UNP on the DCF tab and/or Financial strength and Profitability & growth from the summary tab?

Just compute the DCF page's Fair Value and Margin of Safety yourself. See
this thread, which even has an attachment that does the calculations:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/smf_addin/conversations/topics/27867
For the other two items:
=smfGetTagContent("http://www.gurufocus.com/stock/UNP","a",1,">Financial
Strength",,,,1)
=smfGetTagContent("http://www.gurufocus.com/stock/UNP","a",1,">Profitability

It opens fine from the website, or the link in the message below, for me...
Perhaps it got corrupted during the download?

HI Randy,
Wow that fixed it thanks. Could you also recommend a book for me to read up on this coding manipulation?

So not the "Sales" you want from the table. In most cases, depending on how the web page is coded, a simple ">" prefix in front of the search term can fix the problem -- the ">" is the end of the HTML tag before the word "Sales", so that the simple term in a sentence would not satisfy the search.
This works fine for me:
=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.zacks.com/stock/quote/ http://www.zacks.com/stock/quote/"&A44&"/income-statement",1,">Sales")

I went to Zacks to check the table and it seems to be unchange. Anyone encounter this and has a solution?

This is an example of why I say ordinary words are not good search terms. They can pop up before the table in a different context. Here's what a search on "Sales" is finding:
...provides a comprehensive overview of the company business drivers, complete with earnings and sales charts;...

I was using this code for years and suddenly it becomes a string of "Value".
=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.zacks.com/stock/quote/ http://www.zacks.com/stock/quote/"&A44&"
I went to Zacks to check the table and it seems to be unchange. Anyone encounter this and has a solution?

Sorry. No books.
For me, it's usually a 3-step process:
1. View the source code of the web page
2. Find the data I'm interested
3. Look for unique ways to identify getting to that data, usually in the
code just preceding it
The SMF-Quick-Webpage-Examination.xls template can also be very handy in
searching for items or patterns.
