Oops, forgot to mention that currently the only documentation on the
smfGetYahooPortfolioView() function is here:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/smf_addin/conversations/messages/30599
The templates won't work for you as they do for me, unless your Yahoo "v1"
Portfolio view is the same as mine. Right now, my fields in that view are:
TIME & PRICE
CHG & % CHG
DAY'S LOW & HIGH
VOLUME
AVG VOL
MKT CAP
BID
ASK
YIELD
DIV/SHARE
EX-DIV DATE
P/E
PRICE/SALES
1-YR TRGT PRICE

I installed the new version, replacing the previous version, and now the SMF functions are not recognized. I get '#NAME?39; when I run the "Version" operation, and the context menu does not have the SMF functions.

After several restarts, the functions now work. I think I had to recalculate the entire sheet to make it work.

I'm not sure what to suggest other than exiting EXCEL and restarting it.
The context menu loads when the add-in is loaded. I would thought that
would have happened when you added it back in. But I have no idea what
"pkug" is or what specifically you did to "remove and add the addin back
in"...

Hello -
I use =smfGetOptionQuotes to pull options prices for various securities. One of the securities I've been pulling is VXX.
For example, let's say I have "VXX Jan 2017 74 Call" in cell A2, and in another cell, I pull its ask price using =smfGetOptionQuotes(A2,"a",0,"OX2").
Today, VXX went ex-dividend on a 1-for-4 reverse split, and the option contract was adjusted by CBOE as detailed here:
http://www.cboe.com/framed/PDFframed.aspx?content=/publish/TTStockSM/16-561.pdf§ion=SEC_RESOURCES&title=16-561+IPath+S%26P+500+VIX+Short-Term+Futures+ETN+(%22VXX%22)+1-for-4+Reverse+ETN+Split http://www.cboe.com/framed/PDFframed.aspx?content=/publish/TTStockSM/16-561.pdf§ion=SEC_RESOURCES&title=16-561+IPath+S%26P+500+VIX+Short-Term+Futures+ETN+(%22VXX%22)+1-for-4+Reverse+ETN+Split
Now, when I run the =smfGetOptionQuotes formula, I get an "Error" message.
Is there a fix for these types of option contract adjustments?
Thanks,
Billy

I don't see any contract adjustments on OptionsXPress. Nothing for VXX at
all. I do see some things on a VXX1 web page, but not near enough contracts
to match those in the PDF I looked at. There was a January 2017 item on the
VXX1 page.
If you want that particular item, you could do a workaround of something
like:
=RCHGetTableCell("
https://www.optionsxpress.com/OXNetTools/Chains/index.aspx?ChainType=19&&symbol=VXX1&Page=SSF&lstMarket=0&Range=ALL&AdjNonStdOptions=OFF&lstMonths=15
",5,">VXF17")
But I'm not sure that's what you want.
