Randy,
I am having a similar issue. I'm using Excel 2016 and have to reload the addin every time I open my spreadsheet and when I close the spreadsheet it's not longer there. When you look at the active addins it appears to be there but when you open the developer tab, the vba code is not there until you reload it. Any ideas why? I used this addin for years and this is the first time I've had this issue.

Randy,
Just found out how to load the xla in Excel 2016. According to what I found on https://superuser.com/questions/1103770/excel-add-ins-not-loading-since-july-2016-office-update https://superuser.com/questions/1103770/excel-add-ins-not-loading-since-july-2016-office-update, if you right click on the xla file and under properties check unblock the file loads properly.

That's the workaround that Microsoft published last July, which I've been
referring people to since:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/smf_addin/conversations/messages/30568
FYI -- The problem does not exist on either of my Win10 machines, using
EXCEL365.
