Both documentation and template are on the web site. The template contains
a list of all the available fields.

Hey Randy.... I hope all is well with you. I have a dumb question about changing the location of the add-in on my PC. When I first started using your add-in, several years and hundreds of files ago, I installed it in my Documents folder. I'm reinstalling Windows and I thought I would install your add-in in the C;\ root directory as you suggested. Is there an easy way to do this, or will the old location be hard coded in all of my worksheets?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The old location will still be hard-coded in all of your saved workbooks. I
just have the smfFixLinks macro on a toolbar button so it's easily
available. It's also an option on the context menu (via a right-mouse
click). Once you save the workbook with the fixed links, it will have the
new location hard-coded, so you should only need to do it once per workbook
that you fix and save.

Thanks for the reply and thanks for all the work you put into the add-in. Have a great week.

When I performed those keyboard entries a web query box popped up and I navigated to gurufocus.com and logged in. After that I had to import or cancel. I chose import and the page went into the spreadsheet. After that I tried the formula again and it still says Premium Members Only...I did a GURUF refresh and it is the same thing.
Am I doing it correctly?
thanks

Once you've logged in, you can just cancel out. The security cookie will
have been created.
Did you do an smfForceRecalculation? Without doing that, the "new" formula
will just extract data off of the same saved copy of the web page. The
add-in saves copies of web pages before extracting data from them. The
smfForceRecalculation macro purges all of the saved copies of web pages,
forcing a new one to be retrieved from the Internet.
You can always go back into the EXCEL IE object and check your
login/membership status via this web page:

Randy,
Any ETA on a fix for this issue, or is Yahoo not going to allow us to access those particular data items any more.
Thanks,
Bruce

They've just changed from "http://" to "https://". Change your URLs and
they should work OK. It did for the example you gave. I don't think they've
changed the content of the web pages.
That's happened so often on websites in the last year or two, it's the
first thing I check now.

Hello:
I have an excel data sheet, every time I type numbers in 1,000 excel automatically inserts a decimal in the middle so it looks like 10.00. I have tried everything to get rid of it and so far nothing has worked. So I turn to you fine folks for help. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Regards
Ethan

Randy,
SmfPricesByDates works on one computer but not on another. I remember reading on this before, but I couldn't find the thread. I remember you saying that it has something to do with security settings.
I tried recalculate and I also tried clearing my browser.
Thanks for your help.
