I couldn't find the worksheet in the "upload by forum members' section. Was it removed ?

Try something like:
=RCHGetHTMLTable("
http://www.treasury.gov/resource- center/data- chart-center/ interest- rates/Pages/ TextView. aspx?data= yield
",
"7 Yr",-1,"",1)

Randy, I would have said that the Internet option was already set properly since I had done that recently. However, I also did a restore very recently and when I checked the auto refresh was turned off.
All is now working the way I wanted and the 90 second quote update is down to about 7 seconds. Awesome. Thank you.

Real-time data during market hours

I am sure this has been addressed before. Unfortunately, I could not find the answer.
Is there a way to get real-time data on stocks during market hours?
TIA,

I thought you were looking at the real-time template yesterday?
Or, as I understand it, RCHGetYahooQuotes() will return real-time quotes if
you have signed up for real-time quotes from Yahoo and have logged in with
IE or the EXCEL Web Query process before using the add-in function.

I thought I was but I misunderstood. As you know, the file you helped me with gives real time data for after-hours and not during market hours.
I was not aware about the yahoo real time data feed. i was wondering if smf can get real-time quotes on a specific ticker from web query. From sites like, yahoo, google or cnbc.
Thanks.

Should not "k1" fetch real time ECN quote?

That template is supposed to be getting real-time quotes during market
hours. If it no longer is, I'll need to take another look at it. It has
already changed several times in the past.
It uses different formulas depending on whether it is pre-market, market
hours, or after hours. Note that there are collapsed columns in that
workbook that get the individual items.
Can you give me a sample link for the CNBC real time quote?

It should, yes, but as far as I know, the ECN data items haven't worked for
at least a year. I've considered removing them from the documentation, but
keep hoping Yahoo will add them back. They may have disabled them so people
will sign up for the real-time quotes service?

Can't get the after hours from CNBC, as they load it onto the page
dynamically.
Quote.com seems to be very selective on what "real time" quotes they offer
after hours.
I'll try and remember check before market and during market retrievals
tomorrow or early next week.

Hello, is there a way to return the date representing the earliest historical price? example: RENN would return 5/4/2011 (the day it came public). Thanks, colin

This appears to work, for a ticker symbol in cell B8:
=DATEVALUE(smfGetTagContent( "http://finance. yahoo.com/ "&B8,"option"q/hp?s= ,0,"name= ""a""","option
selected")&" "
&smfStrExtr(RCHGetWebData( "http://finance. yahoo.com/ "&B8,"id=""startdayq/hp?s= """,100), "value="" ","""")&" ,
"
&smfStrExtr(RCHGetWebData( "http://finance. yahoo.com/ q/hp?s=
"&B8,"id=""startyear""",100) ,"value=" "",""""))

Is there any way that you could send this worksheet to me? The Link seems to not work.

Check the "Uploads by forum members" folder of the files area.
The "f1.grp..." links are temporary ones created by Yahoo. Why Yahoo doesn't
just use the permanent link is beyond me.
