Income Statment data from Morningstar (RCHGetTableCell Error)

Randy - I was looking for a nice 10yr+TTM template of all 3 statements using Morningstar data and found "RCHGetTableCell-Template- Morningstar- Financial- Statements. xls" in one of the group folders. The balance sheet and Cash Flow Statements populate just fine, but all of the cells in the Income Statement give "Error". I am imagining the income statement URL (http://quicktake. morningstar. "&Ticker) is outdated, but I can't figure out what URL does work.com/StockNet/ Income10. asp?Symbol=
I've tried searching previous messages for a solution, but couldn't find any. Sorry if this has been addressed before. Thank you for creating and maintaining such a nice add-in! - Greg

excel web query

Hi,
I was trying to download some data on a site which need to log-on.
usually when i log-on in internet explorer, then in excel it is logged in as well, so i can download the data.
But in one computer that i am using, even after i log-in in IE, it fails to log-in in excel, so I have to go web query and manually log-in there as well.
Anyone knows if there is any settings that I have to do in order to correct the issue.
thx
Ant

I suspect that you have two versions of IE installed on that computer, and
that somehow installing the multiple versions ended up with EXCEL pointing
to the version other than the one you use to browse the Internet.
Unfortunately, I have no idea how to fix it, although I would think EXCEL
would point to the most recent installed version of IE.

The PolyReg add-in (as well as a whole suite of business functions) can be obtained here. http://www.businessfunctions. I downloaded and installed the business functions exe file. Works! Just be aware it adds another top level menu entry to your excel just for the business functions suite. Now, understanding the math is something else again .... Tomcom/index. php?pageno= 2.

CEF - Closed End Funds - Dividend and Distributions
Posted by: "schlange.meister" schlange.meister@yahoo.com schlange.meister

Hello All
I am trying to get dividend and/or distribution information for Closed End Funds. To get the forward looking Dividend, I am using:
=RCHGetElementNumber(A16;4924)
But for Closed end funds like GAB, UAN, JGT,
I get a Error or NA
Is there a way to get the distribution data and average 5 year distribution grwoth rate for CEFs?
Thanks

You'd need to find a better source for the data than Yahoo. The "Error"
results are when they don't even have a Key Statistics web page for the
equity, and the "NA" results are what they are populating the fields with
when they do have a Key Statistics page. So the add-in is returning what it
can from Yahoo.
I don't follow CEF's at all, but I'm pretty sure it's been discussed on the
group before -- MorningStar, perhaps? You could try searching the message
archives for CEF or "closed end funds".
