I downloaded the 10 year financial summary file by mrpatmcginnis. The file uses data from Advfn. I found it quite useful, but I noticed that the COGS figure in the sheet is different from other sources, say Google. This in turn affects other numbers like Gross Profit. I believe the sheet is using the accurate element numbers, so I am wondering if anyone has come across this difference and may know the reasons behind it?
Thank you,
Moe

A quick update. I found the reason. ADVFN differentiates between "Cost of Sales" and "Cost of Sales with Depreciation", something that other sites do not. The addin lists element numbers for both, so I changed the element numbers and recalculated the Gross Profit manually, and all are in agreement now.

Hello Randy,
Is it not possible to have SEC's interactive company statements extracted by SMF?
Thank you,
