They both work fine here.
If you close down EXCEL, restart it, and enter just those two formula in a new worksheet, does one work and the other return "Error"?

The request below returns an error:
=RCHGetElementNumber("AACC",947)
But this request doesn't:
=RCHGetElementNumber("AAME",947)
Both of them exist on finance.yahoo.com:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=aacc <http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=aacc&ql=1 > &ql=1
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=AAME <http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=AAME&ql=1 > &ql=1
I have tried to re-download the SMF add-in, but it doesn't help.

I was wrong, something is wrong with the add-in.
The request below returns an error:

But this request doesn't:

Hi,
Thanks for testing.
It actually works when I only use a few symbols, so the problem is probably the amount of lookups that I do, they might block you if you make too many requests.
Best regards,
Frederik
