Hi Randy - the data item I need to use most urgently from Yahoo Key Statistics is element 4926.

When using IE to access the Key Stats, I get redirected to: https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=MCD and I think this is why I get "Error" when using
=RCHGetElementNumber(A3,4926)

See the "ca" prefix that is added.

The element formula for 4926 is :

4926;YahooKS;Trailing Annual Dividend Rate;http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=~~~~~;2;FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS;FORWARD ANNUAL DIVIDEND RATE; ; ;2;</table;0;0

Based on this, how can I create my own formula for "Trailing Annual Dividend Rate"?

And If I want it, how can I create a new element#? Are there reserved #'s and element.txt files for "added by the user elements"?

contains some documentation on the element definition files. For example,
my current version says (which I updated earlier this year):

"The add-in loads element definitions from files smf-elements-0.txt thru
