What are some other historical quote services that can be paid for in case Yahoo continues to mess things up? I've looked at Morningstar and others, but they don't appear to have links to Excel for ad hoc queries of historical pricing - particularly adjusted for distributions and splits. Thanks

Hello Randy, other SMF/Randy fans,
Not sure whether this question is asked before (I couldn't find the answer so far).
The price output is quite raw, by which I mean a large number with a varying amount of figures. I'm struggling to get the right price for every stock automatically or with a standardized adjustment to the raw prices. Is there a way to adjust the raw data into suitable stock prices? Maybe a standard logarithm?
I've attached an image that shows my output
Many thanks!
Rico

I have no idea what I'm looking at. What formulas are you using?

I'm using this formula; =smfPricesByDates(B3;C$2:J$2)
It is the formula used in the standard template: smfPricesByDates-Example-Stocks-By-Dates.xls http://ogres-crypt.com/SMF/Templates/smfPricesByDates-Example-Stocks-By-Dates.xls
The output is pretty inconsistent in the format of showing the prices.
For example, when I enter the ticker PII (polaris industries), I get the following data prices:
2011-12-31: 5,042,201,232,910,160
2012-12-31: 772,987,289,428,711
I think the correct price for 2011 is 50,42 and for 2012 is 77,29
Is there a way to get standard the correct pricing format, or are adjustments always needed?
I'm using this version:
Stock Market Functions add-in, Version 2.1.2017.07.12 (C:\SMF Add-IN; Windows (32-bit) NT 6.02; 12.0; ; Local; 31)
Many thanks!
Rico

I suspect it has to do with your system's regional settings. The add-in is
written based on a U.S. regional setting. VBA uses the regional settings
for all date and numeric conversions. Here's what I get:
2009-12-31 2010-12-31 2011-12-31 2012-12-31 2013-12-31 2014-12-31
2015-12-31 2016-12-31
PII $18.77 $34.53 $50.42 $77.30 $136.02 $143.18 $82.69 $81.28

I'm not sure Google carries CSV files of historical quotes on Canadian
tickers...?
On the U.S. site, the ticker symbols need a "TSE:" prefix.
