Hi. I didn't think this was data that required a login. I will try and see if I can replicate it from elsewhere.
Good morning Randy,
I'm puzzled. Before sending my cry for HELP, I've tried it for
three consecutive days.
All other data elements in my spread sheet work fine.
What to do?
Best regards,
Armando

I just tried:
=RCHGetElementNumber("DE",809)
...and it appears to be working fine here. Temporary website
glitch, maybe?

Had it been working recently? I assumed you had when you said you had been
using it "for quite some time"
But I just updated the definitions at the end of August because of web site
changes. If you still have the old definitions file, those definitions
would give errors.

Yes it had been working before.
But, I updated the ADD IN as you suggested.
I am having a different problem now. I could not update the
"FORCE RECALCULATION" I had set up in my Tool Bar. It was point
to the previous version directory. I was unable to fix that.
Would mind directing me to the instructions to update that?
Thanks a lot.
Also, for some reason, although the OPTIONS ADD IN displays the
correct directory the spreadsheet does not update. Every single
cell shows "#NAME?".
I am at a loss. Any clues?
Thanks a lot.
Armando

But had it been working since the end of August, when I needed to change
element definitions?
If you install the add-in in a different directory, you have to update any
toolbar buttons pointing to the old location to the new location.
Plus, for each workbook you had saved, EXCEL saved the location of the
add-in with each formula from the add-in. If the activated version of the
add-in isn't in that location when the workbook is opened, EXCEL will flag
that as an "unresolved link" (resulting in #NAME? errors) that you'll need
to fix. You can fun the smfFixLinks macro to do that.
The best way to update add-in files is to:
1. Exit EXCEL
2. Updates files, as necessary, in the add-in folder
3. Restart EXCEL
