Hello Randy,
Just updated your smf addin.
I know have this in the cells: ='C:\Program Files\SMF Add-In\RCH_Stock_Market_Functions.xla'!RCHGetYahooQuotes("MMM","l1")
Do you know a quick fix to fix all the cells with ='C:\Program92;Files92;SMF Add-in\RCH_StockMarket_Functions.xla! now in the cells?
Randy, Thanks

Try running the smfFixLinks macro to fix the links. I have it attached to a
button on my Quick Access Toolbar.
Looks like you moved the location of the add-in when you updated?

Thanks for your Hard work!!!
Noticed the Stock Quote App also yields no data, must be related to the "quotes" problem

You need to array-enter it over a range. See:

Well, it still doesn't work for me. I downloaded the 11/2 10 a.m. version of the .XLA, uninstalled the old Add-In, reloaded the new Add-In into Excel, rebooted, and generally tried everything I could think of to make sure that I'm running the corrected new version. However, the following simple formula
=RCHGetYahooQuotes("SPY","L1")
returns a blank cell.
=RCHGetYahooQuotes(
returns a blank cell.

RCHGetYahooQuotes() will not work until Yahoo starts providing the CSV file
again...
The update was for the smfGetYahooPortfolioView() function, a workaround or
alternative until Yahoo fixes the CSV file.

Hi, Randy - -
I'm only getting "Error" when I ask for quotes. I think the new add-in is working, because I do get
Stock Market Functions add-in, Version 2.1.2017.11.02 (C:\Program Files\SMF Add-In2; Windows (32-bit) NT 6.02; 14.0; ; ; 1)
From this thread of questions & answers, I infer that the problem is at Yahoo -- is that correct?
If so, I'll quit messing around and just try again later.
Your SMF add-in has worked for me trouble-free for over a year -- looking forward to getting it going again -- I'm really dependent on it!
Thanks,

Randy,
I entered the following in an array from b1:b68
=smfGetYahooPortfolioView(a2:a68,"15",,1) where a2:a68 contain ticker symbols. Prices were downloaded for the first 36 ticker symbols, but then blanks for the remainder. Is there a size limit on the number of rows?

What formula and parameters are you using?
Yahoo has indicated their current quotes API has been discontinued (i.e.
RCHGetYahooQuotes()).

Are you using the 2017.11.02 version of the add-in? I rewrote the
smfGetYahooPortfolioView() function. The old version did have a low limit
on the number of tickers that could be returned (based on file length)...

I have a strange problem, I used SMF to update a Excel spreadsheet of stock holdings. This worked with an array for years. Today the spreadsheets don't download data, Nothing happens at all. If I enter =RCHGetYahooQuotes("IBM") in a data cell nothing happens. I have tried the obvious, downloaded the latest ,zip file 02-11-17, tried to re enable the add-in in excel, which seemed to indicate the plugin was installed.
Any idea what I should do next?
