Thanks for the help, Randy!
The workaround works great! that said, it's really quite disappointing that they shut down the API.

I'll have to look at it. When I try it, some work, some don't. The pattern
seems to be whether USD is one of the two.
I use the "language" field to parse lines, but they may not be present on
non-USD conversion quotes? Maybe I can use a different line delimiter.

Seems like some currency pairs don't work as they did previously. I can work around using combinations of other pairs, but strange that they don't work now.
AUDGBP=X AUDIDR=X
Thanks for all your assistance.

The current line parsing appears to require a USD partner. Working on it.

I eventually figured out my problem. Now I am trying figure out a problem with some stock symbols, like HASI, If you add it, you can no longer add more symbols below. If you remove it, you can continue to add more stock symbols

Are you using the 2017.11.02 version? That sounds like an issue on the
2017.10.24 version. HASI seems to be working for me, even in first position.

Yahoo has updated their error message. It is no longer a generic 999 when trying to use http://download.finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv, it is:
"It has come to our attention that this service is being used in violation of the Yahoo Terms of Service. As such, the service is being discontinued. For all future markets and equities data research, please refer to finance.yahoo.com."

Which version of the add-in are you using? The smfGetYahooPortfolioView()
function has been around for years.

Randy, first and foremost, thanks for all the countless hours that you have spent writing, updating your SMF program.
Secondly, I assume dead means dead? I tried your November 2, update hoping against hope that it would somehow get around the ridiculous red tape of Yahoo. But, such was not the case. Of course, that doesn't mean I have it installed properly but, I believe I have that part correctly.

I've been there and done that and it most certainly is no fun. First and foremost take care of yourself and we'll put you in our prayers.

It certainly appears dead at this point.
Are you saying the smfGetYahooPortfolioView() template isn't working for
you, with the 2017.11.02 version of the add-in?
