Interesting. I guess I've always done smfGetBarchartPortfolioView() when
the market was closed. They must return a time if the market is open and
last traded date if the market is closed...
I don't see any other kind of date or time stamp on the JSON file.

For me, the BarChart Trade Time column returns a string like 13:24 ET for stocks and ETFs during market hours, and a serial date/time (a number) for stocks, and ETFs after market close. For mutual funds, Trade Time returns a serial date/time for the last business day prior to the current day while the market is open, and today's date if sufficient time has elapsed after today's market close time.

Randy,
In the last few days I have been having an issue with the RCHCreateComment function.
I have a template, probably from you a while back that pulls up the Stock Chart for 35 stocks on a grid of 5 columns by 7 Rows. It has always worked fine but now the first row is compressed by half and the others rows show blank.
The formula is: =RCHCreateComment(B2,INT(3+RAND()),,,1)
The only variable is B2-B8, C2-C8, D2-D8, E2-E8, F2-F8.
Was this perhaps because of a change to the add-in or StockCharts.com site?

Hmm. It appears to work fine here? I tried the template on the Yahoo group:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/smf_addin/files/Templates%20and%20Examples/SMF-Template-RCHCreateComment-Charts-Layout.xls
These days, I usually just use the Stockcharts CandleGlance page:
http://stockcharts.com/freecharts/candleglance.html?[DOW]
It can display up to 12 at a time. I have a folder of bookmarks in Chrome
for various groups of stocks.

In the smfGetAdvFNElement-Template-All-Line-Items.xls, the pre-tax income is not loading.
I think I know why, but I don't know how to fix it.
The HTML label "Pre-Tax Income" has a space at the end of the line, before the "</td>".
Is there something I can do in the formula to fix this?
Thanks,
Tony M

Change the formula in cell D43 to be:
=IF(OR(UPPER(Ticker)="NONE",COLUMNS($D:D)>rPeriods),"--",smfGetAdvFNElement(Ticker,rAQ,COLUMNS($D:D),">"&$C43&"
<",,"--"))
...and copy it rightward. All I did was add a blank to this string:
&"<"
...so it would be:
&" <"

First I want to say thanks to Randy for the Add-in. I just came across it, and its great.
I think that I have come across a problem on Yahoo Finance. It seems that the dividend they report for Canadian stocks is wrong. Check out SU.TO or BNS.TO. Anyone else come across this? Am I looking at it incorrectly? Is there a work around?
Thanks.

Sorry, but I don't have an answer for that issue. Have you notified Yahoo
of the issue (not that it gets results)?
Is it possible that have converted the dividends into US amounts?

I haven't contacted Yahoo yet. I checked the currency exchange issue, and it wasn't it. Both the rate and yield are whacked and they aren't consistent with each other (at least not that I could reconcile).
