Here's the issue:
I'm a mentor for a high school robotics team.
During competition, we "scout" the other teams and collect data in Excel to be used to select our alliance teammates for the Tournament phase.
League rules state that we cannot utilize internet hotspots, local wifi or other wireless networks.
But, in the past we've used Bluetooth devices without issue.
Last year, I used Chromebooks and (6) flash drives to transfer the collected data to the laptop.
(it was kind-of a pain getting the data from Google Sheets to Excel, but I managed)
This year, I have a "master" Windows 10 laptop that consolidates the data in Excel and produces the reports.
The tablets we are using are Android based, running Windows.
Now, I've successfully paired one of the tablets with the laptop and can manually Send/Receive a file via bluetooth.
What I'd LIKE to do is utilize Excel VBA on the tablet to write the match results to a text file and send the file to the laptop using the Bluetooth connection.
Google searches mention utilizing FTP but otherwise have been unhelpful.
Has anyone tried anything like this?
thank you,
Paul
