No big mystery there. The web page no longer exists. Try something like:
=RCHGetTableCell("
https://navelliergrowth.investorplace.com/portfolio-grader/stock-report.html?t="&A3,0,"Total
Grade:")

Best option is to use the "Suggestions" link on the right hand side of the
Yahoo page and report the problem that you see on the web page.

The best way to get a number of them would be to use
smfGetYahooPortfolioView().

It's working here. You probably need the updated element definitions?

Hi Randy
re: rchgetelementnumber 624 - the 5 Year Growth Rate
2 questions
I just updated the whole smf-addin;
1st - I deleted the old smf-addin
2cnd - i downloaded the latest smf-addin
and extracted it.
Basically I replace the old smf-addin.
Did I do this the right way?
Second from reading you email, I guess I could have just updated the element definitions?
How do I just update the element definitions? What are the steps Please?
Computers are so very sophisticated and technical.
After downloading the latest smf-addin, I still can not get rchGetElementNumber "624" to work?
I get an "Error" in the cell = rchGetElementNumber("IBM",624)
Thanks

the eps growth rate of "621" may have an error?
I think this rchGetElementNumber "621" is no longer working.

Strange. If I go to the posting in the Yahoo group, that link does work. So
your email client or the message mailed to you from Yahoo must have
inserted an extra period into the link?

Reinstalling the ZIP file won't do it. The ZIP file won't contain element
definitions changed after it was released. I only do a new ZIP file if the
add-in itself changes. One of the reasons I externalized all of the element
definitions is so that they would be easier to update independently of the
add-in.
Steps to update element definitions:
1. Exit EXCEL
2. Download new element definition file from the web site, replacing the
one in your add-in folder.
3. Restart EXCEL.

Hello Randy,
I changed the smf-addin to the latest Version.
now all my excel files have this in the cells:
cells " ='C:\Program Files\SMF Add-In\RCH_Stock_Market_Functions.xla'!RCHGetElementNumber(Ticker,624)"
I tried to go to excel -> Data -> Edit Links -> Change Source -> This PC-OS(C): Program Files - SMF Add-in
then clicked "RCH_STock_MarketFunctions.xla
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
rr76012
