Since it requires a login, I can't answer how to grab the data. But
smfGetYahooHistory() would NOT be modified for a different data source.. But
if it allows you to download a CSV file, smfGetCSVFile() should be able to
do the trick.

Sigh. This is precisely the type of message that makes me regret sharing
the add-in, and fuel me to stop helping people access such data. The add-in
is not intended for building databases off the backs of free data services.
If you need that level of detail for that many stocks, you should be using
a paid service.
Such usage of the free data sources just encourage them to take steps to
prevent access to the data.

Hi Randy, would like to know whether there's any way to retrieve price history info on morningstar?

Just use their export file:
=smfGetCSVFile("
http://performance.morningstar.com/perform/Performance/stock/exportStockPrice.action?t=7087&pd=custom&freq=d&sd=01/01/2018&ed=05/11/2018
")
However, the data is not adjusted for dividends.

Hi,
Today when I opened my excel with the SMF formulas, I got this pop up saying "Windows Security Warning" with message "This page is accessing information that is not under its control. This poses a security risk. Do you want to continue?"
I tried click yes or no and the next pop up will come up again until the process is 100%...anyone know what I can do to remove this message or even determine what RCH element(s) are causing the message?

That shouldn't normally be possible unless you are using the pType
parameter and having the IE object render the page. Most add-in functions
only retrieve the source code of a web page, so there should be no "page"
that would be accessing information elsewhere.
Other than trial and error, I'm not sure how to determine the source of the
message.
Based on some Google searches, it may be related to the "Access data
sources across domains" setting under the security section of Internet
Options. That's usually necessary if a web page is being redirected -- it
was originally needed for AdvFN data items. You could disable that option
if it's enabled, and see if something stops working?
