Problems with Samples

I can't seem to get any of the samples to work. First note that I can get functions like "=RCHGetYahooHistory("MSFT") " to work fine so I think I have things installed correctly.
If I download the sample "Aerospace-Response.xls" for example and attempt to open it I get a window about "links to other data sources" and asks if I want to update or not. If I click Update I get a window that says "one or more links cannot be updated". If I "Edit Links" I can see that the link is to where my "RCH_Stock_Market_ Functions. xla" file is located.
If I click Update Values I get "cannot find RCHGetYahooQuotes' on "RCH_Stock_Market_Functions. xla"
If I click change source and point to the RCH file I get the same error.
If I try to open source I get a message that the file is already open.
If I just don't update, I can go to a cell displaying "#NAME?" and it will have an array formula like "='C:\Program Files\SMF Add-In\RCH_Stock_Market_Functions .xla'!RCHGetYaho oQuotes(B32: B77,C30:P30) ".
If I edit the cell to remove everything between the "=" and "RCHGet...." and enter it as an array I get the right values from YahooQuotes".
So why is having 'C:\Program Files\SMF Add_In\RCH_Stock_Market_Functions .xla'!
a problem?
I'm running XP SP3 with Excel 2003
Thanks In Advance

I use this to keep track of all my clients and their accounts
You can even get the portfolios downloaded from the brokerage house right to the software on each account
Something to look at

Subject: [smf_addin] Investment group?
Is there an investment group out there?
We have a group of investors. There is one account.
There are two traders. We need software that keeps track of the
more than two hundred investors that are in the group. We have
investors that start with $500 to as much as $50,000.....
Does anyone know where there is software to keep track of the seperate
accounts and values in each account?
Thanks in advance.

Company Description (Element 1) fails even when the MSN has the info

For some companies, i am unable to retrieve the company description using RCHGetElementNumber - Element 1, although it works for other companies. I have success with large caps, banks etc. But for some small such as SAR, I get "Error"
When I go to the MSN page that Element 1 references:
(http://moneycentral.msn.com/ )investor/ research/ sreport.asp? CR=1&AF=1& IH=1&AIE= 1&AIR=1&FRH= 1&FRK=1&ISA= 1&ISQ=1&BSA= 1&BSQ=1&CFA= 1&CFQ=1&TYS= 1&ITT=1&ITP= 1&Type=Equity& Symbol=SAR
not only is the company shown, but the description is there. But it will not load into my spreadsheet.
Any ideas what may be happening?

I don't know what to tell you. I just tried:
=RCHGetElementNumber("SAR",1)
...and it worked fine for me.

Now that is concerning. I need to figure out what is going on.
I ended up using
=smfGetTagContent("http://finance. yahoo.com/ "&$C5,"p",1,q/pr?s= ">Business Summary")
where C$5 is the stock symbol.
