[ExcelVBA] “match destination formatting"

 

Hi group,

I've tried to solve this problem via a macro recording but it didn't work or I am doing something wrong. I'm importing financial data (a cell or two at a time) and have tried to automate the "match destination formatting" function, which applys existing formats to the incoming data. I've searched Google for a solution to no avail. I'm using Excel 2007 and Windows 7. Can anyone find a verifiable way to do this?
