Randy,

I'm new to this group and use of the addin. I saw a post from a year ago about the changes Morningstar made to their database and how you suggested abandoning extraction from that data source. Is that still the case? If not, where can I find the data elements table?

There are still a number of data elements that can no longer be retrieved
from MorningStar. I've toyed with the idea of obsoleting them, but keep
hoping the issue might be resolved.

The list of data elements is the XLS file distributed in the add-in ZIP
file. Also, check out the templates area to see them in context.

Also note that the "Links" area has pointers to frequently asked questions
and tips. For example, location errors.

One issue with MorningStar is that you do need to update your cookie with
the EXCEL Web Query process or IE each day before using the add-in, because
MorningStar sometimes does redirections on your first visit to the web site
each day. That's another issue that keeps me from using MorningStar
regularly.
