[ExcelVBA] Datedif and day-of-week?

 

*If I have Tool Analysis pak installed, how would I determine what the day
of the week is for a date such as January 12, 1805?

One possible way I thought of was to grab the month, day, and add 400 to
the year. Then use weekday function to get the weekday, however a quick
test of looking up that date on the Internet and excel show different days
of the week, so I wonder if 400 is the wrong number to use?
