I may be mistaken (won't be the first time), but Hashky's latest file posting ("Calls") seems not to be an xls file???

Strange Chart Output

Hi Randy
I have been using RCHCreateComment to see a number of charts. I am having problems with the following:
=RCHCreateComment("http://www.bondtool s.com/nbbi. ",99)png
It seems to show a "negative" of the chart
http://www.bondtools.com/nbbi. is the website which displays the chart normally and I can copy and paste from it fine. Is this a site specific issue or is there a setting I can use to display it in readable form.png
Many thanks

Hmmm. I get just the reverse. If I go to the site with my browser, I get a
very poor image that is mostly dark and a type of reverse image from what I
would normally expect. The one I get in EXCEL has a nice light green
background. I find the website version unreadable.
There may be some setting that causes it, but I'm unaware of what it would
be.

Thanks for looking at this. Does sound like you are getting the reverse of what I see i.e. clear image on website and dark/unreadable image in Excel comment. I will have to see if I can find similar charts elsewhere. Some obscure setting issue I guess.

Bruce
I have tried using CloudOn, a similar app that lets me use excel on my iPad. I think Microsoft might have a problem (license violation?) if these apps were on servers. SoI concluded that the iPad is only relaying a screen view of a standalone computer, located who knows where, that runs excel. And the service would have to install the smf on EVERY computer so that whichever one you are directed to when you sign on, would work. I think that might be a bit of a reach.

No idea. But it would have to have the MicroSoft Windows DLL libraries available...

Any idea why this template produces an "Error" for these: SNDK, EGY, and
VECO

Not a clue. I just opened the template from the group and tried all three
of those -- they worked fine.
You didn't exceed your daily limit of stock check-ups, did you?
