I was able to replicate the problem. I just created a number of cells with
"a,b,c", and then ran Text-To-Columns using commas as delimiters, which
split it up into "a", "b", and "c". Then, if I copied a string of "a,b,c"
and pasted it, it also split into the three cells.
But after setting Text-To-Columns to having no delimiters, it left "a,b,c"
alone in a single cell.
But I knew Text-To-Columns had "sticky" settings. I used to use
"Text-To-Columns" a lot 10 or more years ago. I don't use it much these
days because I use a user-defined function to do the process instead of the
EXCEL dialog.
