How did you create your tab, I think that may be the root of where we crack it.

Bob,
I do not have a 2007 machine. I am creating a tab in the ribbon on both the 2010 and the 2013 machines and the tab does not travel with the file. I noticed that the quick access toolbar allows the ability to save a quick access to the file itself but not a ribbon tab. I will keep looking around.

Does the other machine have a ribbon enabled Excel, are you creating the ribbon in Excel 2010/2013 and trying to view in 2007? Are you getting any errors? How did you add the ribbon to your file? And on, and on …
