Hi Randy
When I use the formula =smfGetTagContent("http://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/analyst?symbol=PCRE.MI","div",0,"Sales and Profit Figures in") I get the result "Earnings and Dividend Figures in Euro (EUR). Why is this so when the web page Sales and Earnings Figures in U.S. Dollars (USD)
Furthermore, when I use the formula =smfGetTagContent("http://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/analyst?symbol=SPEAS.CO","div",0,"Sales and Profit Figures in") I get an error message.
thanks

I think I know why. I referred to the wrong page (financial highlights) instead.

I am also getting "error" messages in my spreadsheets for retrieving option quotes.
Here is what I have found:
This produces "error": =smfGetOptionQuotes("AAPL Oct 2015 $120 Call","l")
This produces the correct result: =smfGetOptionQuotes("AAPL 10/16 2015 $120 Call","l")
It seems that we have to enter the month and day of the expiration, e.g. "10/16" and not just the month, e.g. "Oct"
Here is what I have found:

Designation of month (i.e. "Oct") quit working in February of this year,
when they changed the monthly expiration dates from Saturday to Friday, so
that they would align with the weekly option expirations. My copy of the
add-in has that fixed, but I can't release it because my copy of the add-in
also has coding for the new format of Yahoo's option page -- which Yahoo
backed out, ONLY on IE, a week after the change. Both Chrome and FireFox
still have the new format, so I'm expecting Yahoo to change again.

Randy. Thanks for suggestion....it worked! Took me awhile to find how to do that but it was a good learning experience as I found other items that broadened my understanding at the same time.
Only item left to make this template truly helpful (it is amazing by the way) is to get the ticker pull down menu set up to display stocks of interest. I think the author had something on that in his post so will go back and revisit. Currently it is displaying selections that I've never heard of (reference not right?).
Thanks again for the guidance. Jim

You can set up your own watch list on the setup worksheet. Other option is to pull in companies that are reporting their earnings which is probably what you are seeing.

I found the problem. The Ticker drop down box was picking up the wrong column of values. I reset it to the right column and it works fine. Not sure if this is specific to my download file so you may want to check original.
This is a great spreadsheet by the way, many thanks for sharing!
