I have a workbook with two worksheets. One is a database with typical lname, fname, address, city, state, zip and the other a New Event worksheet.
I sent out a mailing to everyone in the database inviting them to an event. I have a VLookup formula in the New Event worksheet that fills in all pertinent criteria of the people accepting the invite. The problem I have run into is when there are multiple people with the same last name. VLookup only sees the first entry. Is there a way to have Excel prompt me to choose the correct corresponding fname?
Any/all help is appreciated. I'm stumped.
Thanks
Sharron
