Randy I changed to 'DOHLCVC39;. Good news now its pulling in data (I know I don't need two 'C's but it kept me from messing with the array - only last one fills in with data).
Issue is I just need correct adjusted data.
so I'm getting correct data (checking back years) for ^GSPC, and GLD, but incorrect data on others (ie. SPY and AAPL).
Can't figure it out. May have something to do with the default adjustment factor - which I had set to '1' to adjust data. But when I change it to '0' I get an error code "Error: All data is now adjusted" in every cell, with no data pulled in.

I don't understand that. You seem to be going for unadjusted data?
In any case, there is no unadjusted data on Yahoo, unless the equity has no
dividends or splits. Which is true for both GLD and ^GSPC. That's why I put
in the error message if someone asks for unadjusted data. I didn't want
anyone getting surprises.

Ok think I got it. The SMF add-in pulls in the 'adjusted close' column from Yahoo? (which is split and dividend-adjusted) and then adjusts the OHL?
I was looking at Google Finance, which for Close adjusts for splits but not dividends perhaps.
