Randy yes I am entering in a single cell not an array format. I installed the latest beta and unblocked the file.
Here are the latest problem results
=RCHGetElementNumber("Version") returns
Stock Market Functions add-in, Version 2.1.2017.08.13 (C:\Program Files\SMF Add-In; Windows (32-bit) NT 6.01; 14.0; ; ; 1)
=RCHGetYahooHistory(B495,YEAR(D495),MONTH(D495),DAY(D495),YEAR(D495),MONTH(D495),DAY(D495),"d","A",1,1,0)
Returns the message "CLOSE"
=RCHGetYahooHistory("IBM",2017,8,3,2017,8,3,"d","A",0,1,0)
Returns the message "ERROR"
=smfPricesByDates("IBM",DATE(2017,6,11))
This works correctly
the problem is the SMFpricesbydates skips certain dates that updated no problem previously.
the RCHGetYahooHistory I have used successfully no problem for 4 years until Yahoo changed their system.
Thanks for all your efforts much appreciated!!!
Regards

Yes, here too. If you just enter it into a single cell, that's what you
would get.

I get 143.42463684082...no idea why it's not working for you? Have you
tried smfGetYahooHistory()?

Can you give an example of one with dates skipping?

Randy, It appears that it is a data issue
As the following works =smfGetYahooHistory("IBM",,"8/3/2017",,"c",0)
And the the ticker symbol "SSO" which is an ETF does not work
=smfGetYahooHistory("SSO",,"8/3/2017",,"c",0)
Yet =smfPricesByDates() works for Ticker "SSO"
thanks

Odd. This works fine here:
=smfGetYahooHistory("SSO",,"8/3/2017",,"c",0)
It might be a Yahoo glitch, where the data was incorrect or unavailable for
some reason? Try exiting and restarting EXCEL and try it again. And make
sure your Internet options are set to always get a fresh copy of the web
page before doing so.
smfPricesByDates() "fills in" if a date is missing, so I'm wondering if
that date is missing for SSO? Have you tried a full array to see if the
data is indeed being retrieved?
