Hi Randy,
I'm sorry to bother you again, but I'm having trouble getting Zacks Industry information for stock symbols today. The functions that I've been using worked last week, but not today.
My add-in version is: 2.1.2017.06.09.
The functions that I'm using (whichever one works at the time) (stock symbol is in cell S26) are:
1.) RCHGetElementNumber($S26,850)
(this function usually returns an "Error")
2.) smfGetTagContent("https://www.zacks.com/stock/research/"&$S26&"/industry- comparison","strong",1,">Industry</a> :")
(this function worked last week, but today is returning a "number" (13, for example).
Any idea what's going on here? It looks like Zacks changed their Comparison to Industry page. Why can't these websites leave well enough alone, and quit changing things?
I see that you have a newer version of your add-in -- versus the one that I'm using. Would that help me?
Thanks.

I'm surprised they worked for you last week. For months now, all I've seen
on their web pages is a 2-digit number for an industry group.

Hello Randy,
Do you also experience that the ADD-IN doesn't load data anymore?
The add-in worked fine earlier today tough..
I'm running this Add-IN: RCH_Stock_Market_Functions-2.1.2017.08.13.zip http://ogres-crypt.com/SMF/RCH_Stock_Market_Functions-2.1.2017.08.13.zip
Excel version 2007
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Any ideas? Maybe the security levels are increased?
Looking forward to your reply
Rico

This may be the issue that occurred in July of last year because MicroSoft
issued some security updates. It's not letting EXCEL load the add-in when
EXCEL starts up.
For a workaround suggested by Microsoft, until they fix the issue, see:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/smf_addin/conversations/messages/30568
If that's not your issue. I need more details. Are you saying that when you
start up EXCEL, this doesn't work in a new workbook?
