I suspect you don't have the beta version of the add-in installed, so it
doesn't recognize the new function.
However, it does look like they've changed processing at that website, so
the function may not work any more.
Also, you were using a historical date.

Randy is correct. In a snit, I deleted it a while ago, but it's back.
Be aware that I keep the SMF addin in a 'non-standard' location on my PC, so you'll have to do a global change to the Data tab to correct.

This worksheet calculates the discount (if any) of current market cap to a conservatively estimated liquidation value.
The sheet uses MSN Money financial statements and has the corrections needed to deal with the recent MSN URL changes.
NOTE: I save the SMF add-in in a non-standard location on my PC, so the usual global changes will probably be necessary.
BTW, I haven't used this sheet in a while. Not as many Net-Nets out there as there used to be.

Dear Randy
I am currently using the following formula to get the stock historical data.
=RCHGetYahooHistory(GOOG)
goog
Date Open High Low Close Volume Adj Close
12/20/12 723.26 724.65 716.97 722.36 1657000 722.36
12/19/12 720.71 723 716.68 720.11 1918600 720.11
12/18/12 716.6 729.1 715.05 721.07 3004900 721.07
12/17/12 705.5 721.92 704.02 720.78 3035400 720.78
12/14/12 699.17 707.82 698.43 701.96 2130100 701.96
However, I only want to get the closing price only (up to date). I am wondering if there is another formula to get the closing price only rather than getting all above data.
Many many thanks Randy!
Will

Just use the pItems parameter -- to get just the adjusted closing price
column:
=RCHGetYahooHistory("GOOG",,,,,,,,"A")
Take a look at the documentation. There are a lot of parameters to modify
what you get.
