Hi again, nested IF-functions is a mess. After some googling and trying/failing I'm up with
= match(true;INDEX(A1:A10<>0;0);0)
It's translated from my norwegian Excel, hope its readbale in an english excel.

Then I fear that you are going to be stuck with a nested IF. I'm not sure about V 2007/10 but up to and including 2003 there was a limit of seven. You could get around this I think but it was a real PITA.
