I'm saddened by the news
and pray that you will return to full health
soon. 

You and the group created one of the
first tools I used to perform analysis on the stock market.
I managed to automate much of DCF analysis on hundreds of
companies thanks to your tools. I was in college at the
time.
Fast forward to
today, I am now running a fast growing company with the
mission to create web-based tools to help investors. If it
wasn't for passionate and generous people like yourself,
the seed of entrepreneurship would have never been lit.
Thank you for inspiring me and so many others.
Timing wise, we are about to embark
on major efforts to add to our software the ability to
analyze and create reports on individual stocks - then use
that as a basis to form portfolios. So if you or anyone here
would like our team to help in any capacity (I.e.
ideas/visions you've always wanted to work on but never
had time for), we have our ears open.

Sorry folks.
Went into the hospital on
12/14,
Transferred to rehab on
12/21.
Told them I was ready to go
home on 12/28, but it took until today to get everything all
situated for me to go home. I've been told I was going
home each day since 1/1. Just came in the front door about 2
hours ago.
Came home with equipment,
which was part of the problem.

Just a warning -- not sure
how much longer I'll be able to keep things going.

If you specify some other cells it may be useful. Right now too far up in the excel.

Search for STOP within cell e4

That will give you the position at which the word stop is found in e4 there is no value if true or false.


It just tells you at which part of e4 the word stop is you are not comparing anything therefore If is misused or uneccessary


So if you wanted to use ti it would go something like


if (Search ("Stop",E4) < 12, VALUE if TRUE, VALUE if FALSE) etc

I find that on some accasions, the oHTTP.ReadyState never gets to 4,
probably due to a call to the web that is invalid or a web page not
returning it.

What I need is a timing loop on this and if the doevents does not respond
correctly, then print out a message as to the failed call.

My main type of call is
smfGetTagContent("http://webfund6.financialexpress.net/clients/dailymail/Fun
dFactsheet.aspx?CitiCode="&$B315,"h",4), downloading data from a daily mail
financial page, the $B315 is the CitiCode of the fund and the number 4
changes to reflect the data on the page I want to read.
