SMF-Template-10-Year-Charts.xls

I've been using the great template SMF-Template-10-Year-Charts. xls provided on this site which was working fine a couple months ago, but now won't load any data after entering a ticker, displaying #NAME? in all the fields. I can continue to use RCHGetElementNumber -Template- AdvFN-Financial- Statements and most of the other templates. I'm wondering if there was some change in ADVFN that invalidated the old template, or if I'm causing the error somehow (but it didn't resolve after redownloading the template). Is anyone else having this problem and is there a way to get it working again?

I just tried the workbook from the "Files" area of the group and it worked
fine for me. Two immediate possibilities come to mind:

...but it is curious your other AdvFN workbooks continue to work. That's a
puzzle to me.
Are you using an old version of the add-in?

Hi Randy,
Thank you so much! I just found out that you have already answered same question about Dow Jones. Thanks for the patience.
About the ^HSI, the problem is solved for now.
Thanks again!!!

Yahoo is no long licensed to carry DJIA quotes, see: http://help.yahoo.com/ l/us/yahoo/ finance/known_ issues/fitaki- 13.html
However, the work-around I use is to use ticker symbol INDU, which appears to work (for now, anyway).
I tried ^HSI and it worked fine for me. However, I do have troubles trying to enter "^HSI" into an EXCEL cell -- EXCEL wants to change it to "^HIS". But it isn't the add-in that is changing the ticker symbol, it's the EXCEL auto-correct function. For example, just type ^HSI into a cell and before hitting enter, type a blank -- for me, EXCEL immediately changes ^HSI to ^HIS as soon as I type the blank and indicate I am done with the word.

Hi Thanks for the add-in. It's very helpful. But when I'm using "RCHGetYahooQuotes()" to get the prices and other information for Dow Jones Index (^DJI) and Hang Seng Index (^HSI), it doesn't work very well. I hope I can get some help from you. Thank you in advance.
