Hi Zannah

If all you want is an excel spreadsheet like a list of items arranged by
number then I would suggest you create it and then convert it to a table .
To do this click inside the list after you have a few items in it and then
go to the insert tab and click table. Then follow the prompt. This formats
the table and puts arrows on each item in the heading. You click these to
sort the table in ascending or descending order on that column.

Easier to try it than to describe it.
