Hello,
I was trying find industry values for these items;
Revenue
Earning / Share
Book Value / Share
Free Cash Flows
Average ROIC
Average ROE
Average ROA
Average Net Margin
I am trying to use RCHGetElementNumber function to get these values. Please help!
Thanks,

Just use the filter function on the
RCHGetElementNumber-Element- Definitions. xls file distributed with the add-in
and you should find all of the "Industry" data elements.

Now when I am trying to open the File smfPricesByDates file I get a message "This workbook contains one or more links that cannot be update." What do I do? Thank you.

here is my earlier comment regarding 'total return' posted somewhere else,
but worth considering here
===================== ========= ========= ======
be careful about just plugging data for a total return calculation.
there are several assumptions and calculations that may not be
representative of real-world events.
> the day a stock goes ex-div, may not be the day the dividend gets paid.
(e.g., SPY) the delay can be upwards of 30-days -- or more.

<http://www.dividendinvestor. >SPYcom/?chk= ecc2b1309874364& symbol=spy& submit=GO
ex-div = 17june; div payment = 29july
how do you treat this six week spread of price appreciation without the
dividend or dividend payment?
> when the dividend does get paid, what assumptions are made regarding the
dividend reinvestment price (open, mid, close, vwap)?
> do you include commissions on the reinvestment?

until you can purchase and integral number of shares -- in an odd-lot)

i'd like to see how others treat these...
cheers
