Randy,
I have a workbook with a worksheet that uses smfGetYahooPortfolioView for 79 equities that I track. I use the following formula, array entered, to return element numbers: 15,17,18,19,20,21,87,66 and 63 stored as text in C6:K6 with the ticker symbols in B8:B86:
=smfGetYahooPortfolioView($B$8:$B$100,$C$6:$K$6,,1)
I'm using version:
Stock Market Functions add-in, Version 2.1.2018.01.24 (C:\Program Files\SMF Add-in; Windows (32-bit) NT 6.02; 14.0; ; ; 1)
I update this sheet by running the smfForceRecalculation macro. Typically, over the past 18 months or so the update was very fast, but lately it takes anywhere from 1 to 2 minutes to complete.
If I delete the array formula from all cells and re-enter it, the update is virtually instantaneous.
Any idea what might be causing the update run time to be so long?

I'd suggest you turn logging on and actually see what kinds of requests the
add-in is making, and how long they are taking. See:

It should typically take just a split second to make that request and parse
the results.
