Re: [ExcelVBA] Attention!! Fake group posts

 

Didn't see anything in the message headers, it was just a plain old spam
e-mail from someone who had been a member of the group for years. My
assumption was that it wasn't deliberate by the member, so I just set to
moderated, rather than banning him, as I would with a normal join-then-spam
spammer.

IIRC, my spam checker did correctly identify the e-mails as spam when they
hit my computer from the group. My office's spam checker definitely
intercepted them at work.
