No idea, other than using their "Contact Us" type links, and asking.

Thanks, for the explanation.

I don't use all 1000. In fact, I only use 100. I simply like the clean
format and speed of this template.
Further, I am not screening anything. I am tracking my watch list. I like
tracking it in a spreadsheet rather than online because of the increased
flexibility - hence my questions below.
I hope that helps, Kermit.

Randy,
Doing the info in the Link message worked but then it stopped working after I saved it. I tried it again and could not get it to work again.

I you fixed the links and saved the workbook, all links should be resolved
when you reopen the workbook you saved. Because the hard-coded links will
reflect where you have the add-in located.

I got it to partially work. If I follow your instructions. I still get the error message. However, if I go into each cell copy and repaste it back into the cell it works. confused

Hello Randy. This is now giving me all error messages. It just started to do so. I noticed that Zacks just made changes to their website zacks.com . I wonder if this could be the cause. Can you fix this? Thanks.

They have indeed made changes.
I just uploaded a new smf-elements-6.txt file to the "Works in Progress"
folder of the FILES area of the group. Hopefully, that will fix all the
Zacks element definitions.
Best practice:
1. Exit EXCEL
2. Download the new version of the element definition file
3. Replace the older version of this file in your add-in's file folder
with the newer downloaded version
4. Restart EXCEL

Randy, how do I use the RCHGetTableCell formula to retrieve the Zacks Rank from the website:
http://www.zacks.com/stock/quote/VZ
I've been playing with it but haven't been successful.
Thanks.

The formula I am using for the element definition is:
=0+smfStrExtr(smfGetTagContent("
http://www.zacks.com/stock/quote/VZ/detailed-estimates ","p",-1,"Zacks
Rank:"),": ","-")
...but you can use the same format with your URL:
=0+smfStrExtr(smfGetTagContent("http://www.zacks.com/stock/quote/VZ ","p",-1,"Zacks
Rank:"),": ","-")
