Hi,
I use smfGetOptionQuotes to retrieve quotes from Yahoo and this has worked for the past. This week, it is now returning "Error" for all options...do you know why by any chance?
=smfGetOptionQuotes("GOOG 1/24 2014 1110 P","l1")
Thanks,
Krishna

Not sure what to tell you. Your formula worked fine for me.
Did you instill some type of firewall that would prevent EXCEL from
accessing the Internet? Do other add-in functions work?

Hi,
Has anybody had success in obtaining quotes through the addin for the DJ sub-industry groups?
Specifically, I'm able to get a quote for the DJ basic materials group (DJUSBM) using the smfPricesByDate function. However, the sub-industry of commodity chemicals (DJUSCC) comes up #N/A.
This is consistent throughout the list. For instance Consumer goods (DJUSNC) works but automobile (DJUSAU) doesn't.
Thanks

Yahoo doesn't have a license to distribute quotes from Dow Jone items in
their CSV files...

I have been trying unsuccessfully to extract full table data from the 10 year summary on MSN money. http://investing.money.msn.com/investments/financial-statements?symbol=aapl
I have also tried the HTML table function with not luck? am i missing something here?

Not sure why your subject is about "tag content", since that would be a
different function. Since you didn't give any examples of what you tried, I
don't know what you might have been missing...
In any case, try:
=RCHGetHTMLTable("
http://investing.money.msn.com/investments/financial-statements?symbol=aapl","Income
Statement:",1,"",1)
=RCHGetHTMLTable("
http://investing.money.msn.com/investments/financial-statements?symbol=aapl","Balance
Sheet:",1,"",1)
Typically, I would use a column header as my string search, but the table
identifiers were very unique ones. And, just as an FYI, are you aware of
this template?
