Elements #163 to #173 are the average P/E data elements from MSN.
SGA% from MorningStar are elements #14080 thru 14090.
All of those work for me, so you probably just need to pick up the latest
element definitions from the "Works in Progress" folder. Both MSN and
MorningStar elements had to be redefined because of changes they had made
to their web pages.

Hi Randy - I have the latest from the "Work in progress" folder. The Elements-Definitions file that I have is 2013-11-5, in the file, elements 14080 thru 14090 are crossed out, and I get Error using SMF-Template-Morningstar-Key-Ratios.
Regards,
Jose L. Jacob

The MorningStar element definitions file was last uploaded on November
15th. I had three sets of updates to them after November 5. From the change
log:
2013-11-06 RCHGetElementNumber Reinstated obsolete elements #13931-#14057,
on smf-elements-4.txt, to pull valuation ratios from static MorningStar web
pages. 2013-11-06 RCHGetElementNumber Reinstated obsolete elements
#14058-#14343, on smf-elements-4.txt, to pull key ratios from static
MorningStar web pages. 2013-11-14 RCHGetElementNumber Update/added some
MorningStar "Take" and "Profile" element definitions, #877-#891, to
smf-elements-4.txt.
Hmmm. Looks like I didn't upload the newest XLS documentation file that I
have, as of 2013-11-15...

After replacing the files, you need to get the add-in to reload the element
definitions (it typically only loads them once, when the first
RCHGetElementNumber() function is run). That happens either when you exit
and restart EXCEL, or when you run the smfForceRecalculation macro (see
LINKS area of group for more info on it).

Getting ready to try installing SMF on my new Windows tablet (which, so far is WAY better than the Android it replaces. Anyone already tried this? Any caveats?
Thanks

As usual Randy, your skill and generosity is amazing. Every update improves efficiency and thus allows for more time doing what is important, following trading strategies and consequently, creating wealth. Thanks.
The trickiest thing for me is actually figuring out the formulae to get the information I want.
Great Stuff.

In the "Search" form at the top select index "FTSE AIM All-Share" for instance and click "Search".

If you can't give me direct URL with screening results, you won't be able
to give one to the add-in function. And it will need one to know which web
page to extract data from.
