Hi Randy,

I've been trying to grab the Monitor (HTML5) CSV file and don't see how to get this without clicking on the CSV tab. Not finding in the HTML code.

Just wondering if there's a method using your addin.

Thanks

It appears to stream the CSV data. Very strange. I've not seen that before.
But that means it's generated on the fly and not a "file" to be downloaded?

Thanks for looking.

I guess the other option is for me to write something that clicks the button and grabbed the file.

Otherwise would it be possible to grab the contents of monitor from the HTML code? I was trying to extract as a table, but not having any success.

Since it is dynamically updating, the add-in won't be able to do much. The
add-in extracts data from the source code of the originally sent web page.

You'd need to write your own VBA routine that interacts with the HTML
object. Which you'd need to do anyway to click the button.

Hello Randy, I am really glad that you are back home. Hoping for your prompt recovery.

I remember some people asking you if there is a way to give you something in return for your effort and dedication to the SMF. You mention that a good way would be to donate to a charity.

I would like to make a donation to a charity related to the illness you are having. Do you have any suggestion?

Regards,
Jose L. Jacob

Diabetes is that thing that's getting me the most these days. It affects
almost everything in the body.

Dear Randy, so sorry to hear about it. Hope that you are getting the best medical advice. I'm actually for the industry (Pharma) and there are some effective treatments almost regardless of the disease stage. Let me know if you would want to talk about it.

I started a low calorie Keto diet while in the hospital. Which basically
means high protein at my body size. Still doing it now. Before the
hospital, I was taking 400 units of insulin a day and averaging a 160 BG
reading. I haven't used any insulin since I left rehab, and my BG has
varied from 93 to 117.

GuruFocus has an add-in that allowed retrieval of some groups of data. They have now expanded it to have user-defined functions similar to the SMF add-in:

For example:

=GURUF("AAPL","price")

I just took the easy route and had FireFox display the image all by itself.
Then I copied the URL of the image.

The "1" is indeed what makes it stay visible all the time. The positioning
parameters only work if the comment is visible. They don't work for pop-ups.

I have been using the options tracker to input and track my put options. I have entered two(2) tickers that I get errors in the put tab and on the summary tab. The cells on the tabs show (NAME and VALUE) through out the program. Can some one explain to me how to correct this problem? Tickers (ATVI, LULU)

No idea what "options tracker" is...

#NAME? usually means the function is not defined (i.e. no add-in?). #VALUE?
would then cascade from there...?

=rchgethtmltable("http://www. investing.com/rates-bonds/ world-government-bonds http://www.investing.com/rates-bonds/world-government-bonds",E2)

E2 = "Switzerland 1Y" w/o the quotes
