If I remember correctly that unsubscribe will remove her from the yahoo group.
They unsubscribe using the email address that makes the request not the one she wants removed.

Why not just use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every group message?

Try one of these 3 methods to unsubscribe:
I have not used any of them so I can't be sure they work but worth a try.

Had a look thru the forum at people with a similar problem. Removed an earlier version in a different location. Installed current version in C:\SMF Add-in and excel loaded it OK after quite a bit of linking and changing source for xla. Looked for the fixlinks macro but there are no macros listed in the macro window.
Just using the history by example to try to get this working but all to no avail.
any help appreciated!!

The macro window only shows macros from open workbooks, not those in
add-ins. You need to type in the name of smfFixLinks yourself, then all of
the click boxes should become active..

It's also an available option on the context menu (right-click menu).

I'll need more details. What does the formula look like that returns #NAME?

Ok. I am just using RCHGetYahooHistory-Example-By-Parameters.xls to get the app working. So the formula is as in the original spreadsheet... =RCHGetYahooHistory(C2,C3,C4,C5,C6,C7,C8,C9,C10,C11,C12,C13)

You need to give me more context when asking about problem or issues...

Yahoo also unplugged their historical quotes CSV process and replaced it at
the same time they removed the current quotes CSV file.
RCHGetYahooHistory() should still work, but not for all parameter
combinations. They've put the CSV file behind a cookie and an API code
value now, so it's more difficult to get.

Instead, you should use smfGetYahooHistory(), which gets the data from a
JSON file they produce. Documentation and template are on the web site.

oh, OK. Can't find the template - only the one I already have. Also, a previous spreadsheet I created that used RCHGetYahooQuotes fails to fetch any data Neil

Yahoo unplugged the data sources for RCHGetYahooQuotes() and
RCHGetYahooHistory() last year..

Their replacements:

Today, after several months not using this add-in, I can't get it to work for me.

The command =RCHGetYahooQuotes(B3,"l1",NOW()) returns ERROR in every cell.

The Command =RCHGetElementNumber("Version") works correctly showing version 2.1.2018.01.24 and the correct location of the macro files.

The command =smfConvertData("1B") returns 1,000,000

so the add in is working, but not getting data from Yahoo.

I have Internet Explorer open and logged in to my Yahoo account. This has been the trick for me in the past.

Please send some ideas for me to try today.
I run windows 10 and have a Office 365 subscription.

Thanks very much,

Rod

RCHGetYahooQuotes() has been dead since last November, when Yahoo unplugged
the API that feeds it.

You should use an array-entered smfGetYahooPortfolioView() function. See
the web site for documentation and a template on the function.

Thank you Randy, that did work. Sorry for being so far out of date with your tools.

Is it still necessary to have a Yahoo acct open in Internet Explorer for this to work? IE is not my usual browser...

I'm not aware of the need for a Yahoo account to access their Portfolio
View items.

Sorry, but I can't help -- I don't have a global membership so I can't see
that web page.
