I noticed something even more strange.

Yahoo uses pro-forma EPS instead of using the GAAP EPS for at least some of the companies in their database, and the order of magnitude of difference in the EPS results is not trivial.

Caveat emptor.

Sigh. Yahoo is no longer allowing me to approve posting of moderated messages.

The issue here is that the initial web page sent by yahoo contains the "Jan 29" date. But a later update of the web page changes it to "Jan 30". The add-in only has access to the source code of the initially sent web page.

Subject: Problem with RCHGetElementNumber()

Noticed something strange.  When using RCHGetElementNumber(Ticker, 1285) to get the earnings date, it returns a day earlier than what is shown on the Yahoo web page.

Example:  RCHGetElementNumber("KO",1285) returns the string "Jan 29, 2020".

If you look at the web page https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/KO?p=KO it shows "Jan 30, 2020".

This used to work until about a few weeks or so.

I am using Excel 2007 (12.0.6787.5000) SP3 MSO (12.0.6785.5000) on Windows 10.
